When I lived in Europe my favorite French white was Graves. I am now living in Mexico and our local shops do carry some french wines, but I need to have some recommendations to see if I can get some special ordered. Any suggestions.

Does anyone have any recommendations for white burgundys/Graves?

Budget? That's the only problem with Pessac Leognan et al. these days. While there's plenty of budget-friendly Entre-Deux-Mers, the better Graves are a bit pricey. I suppose we should thank all those years of attention by the UK wine writers....
Anyway, if you can provide some budgetary parameters, we'll see what we can do.

Hi Jpartridge - Kermit Lynch offers a very nice graves white, has a distinct flavor, sold here in Orange Co. for USD 14, you can order it from wine-exchange or probably another retailer. It needs to breathe a while to fully open up.
GRAVILLE LACOSTE 2009 BORDEAUX BLANC $13.99
Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend

Jpartridge - I looked through my records and found a burgundy that impressed me, also from Lynch, available just under $20 and rec'd a 90 from Allen Meadows
Domaine Robert-Denogent Mâcon-Fuissé Les Tâches 2007 $19.99
The former above post (Graves) white featured mineral, nectarine, lemongrass in roughly equal proportions, and the latter, above featured lemon, pineapple guava, and mineral with a nice "acid-razor" down the center of the tongue, quite interesting to me.
= = = =
The one below is good too - kumquat, lemon, nectarine, melon, mineral, bitter herb, with an acid kick at the end - at USD 10
Cave de Lugny Mâcon-Villages 2008 $9.99
also could try these, I thought they were quality as well
Domaine Maurice Lecestre Chablis 2008 (could not locate price)
Savary Chablis Selection Vielles Vignes 2008 $19.99
