- Disappearing review text...?
I'm certain that I didn't just rate, but did actually write a review for this wine:
http://www.snooth.com/wine/san-giuseppe-pinot-grigio-2005#
When I look at that page, I see a blank text field (maybe the idea is that it's supposed to pull the text in and let me edit it?)... are other users actually seeing the review, or did the text get dropped in the review process?

we definitely lost the text of that review, but i do see other reviews that have been posted since then. which browser did you log the review from? can you try reviewing another wine (or that one again -- sorry!) and let us know if the text appears?
we only have the one review from you and there is only a rating.

Ff 2.0.0.3(? on the last digit) on Mac OS X 10.4.whatever (9?).
It could very easily have been pilot error somewhere: I'll try again tonight.

Okay, I tried again.
In front of Mark.
Still: no content in the review.
That was with IE6, and http://www.snooth.com has made it into work's filters to be blocked (as "alcohol/tobacco"), so I can't check with anything else right now.
Mark, any thoughts? Can you reproduce it?

Please drop me an email/call if you want me to try specific things from home this evening. I'm actually NOT otherwise occupied for the first time in like two weeks...

Yes this was confirmed and has already been reported from other sources. I will be fixing this, hopefully very soon.

Oh hey look, my review's there now!
Did you resurrect it or did I retype it and forget I did?
If the former, does this mean you managed to pull back all the blank reviews? Cool, if so.

3 of the 5 reviews I posted yesterday AM (june 4, 2007) seem to be missing. It saved my ratings though. The review I posted last night is intact however. I use Fire Fox 2.0.0.3

Yes. A drag that my reviews are not saved along with the rating. I'm saving to notepad before post it here next time. :x
Used IE 6.0.2900 on XP.

We're having trouble identifying the issue here - there doesn't seem to be any consistency to it.
Silly question - you're all pressing the 'submit' button, right? Does the text submit then disappear, or disappear as you press the submit button? Does it submit, look like its there, then disappear when you re-visit the page?
Can you give us some more info...
