Well, back to one of my favourite regions...THE CARIBBEAN.

I always like to start the Caribbean Wining and Dining thing
by reminding everyone that the Caribbean is a diverse area....there is
the DUTCH, the FRENCH, the SPANISH and of course, the ENGLISH.

My French loves St.Martin(FRENCH SIDE), Martinique, Guadeloupe.

I will have alot to say but would like to open up
to others.

In closing (until next time)........
the thrill of several simple (and haute as well) French meals and fine wines at TROIS ISLETS ...Martinique at the Meridienne Hotel,
the superb sea-food and range of appropriate French whites!....haunting......
READY TO RETURN!
Cheers!

We did feel in our hearts the distress in that unfortunate situation.

Many of us continue to contribute decently.

Let us now try to encourage an interest in Caribbean dining.

What are you looking for in terms of a response to your forum?  Perhaps you could be a teeny bit more specific about the food and the potential pairings you're thinking of - just to get some of the knowledgeable members of the community to bite.

And why in this thread? The original poster was complaining about the timing of Greg's report(s) on St. Maarten's, because of the horrendous destruction that had just occurred in Haiti right before his article was posted, and massive tragedy was ongoing. So why drag this up???
