Can I add a wine to the database?

Posted by biondanonima, Dec 29, 2009.

Hey there - I had a Riesling tonight that I wanted to review and add to my list on Snooth, but when I searched the database I couldn't find it. I also couldn't find a way to add it myself. Is there a way, or does it have to be done by the powers that run the website? Let me know. By the way, the wine in question is a 2007 Piesporter Michelsberg Riesling Spaetlese by Dr. Karl Christoffel. And it was tasty!

Yes, you can add a new wine to the database. J. J. Chrtistoffel is a well-known producer in Urzig which is in the Mittelmosel (like Piesport), so we'd love to have your review. I could not find a review of the wine you reference, but if you plug in the wine's full name from the bottle label and get a "not found" message, just choose option 3 below the message and follow the thread to set up a new ID for your wine. That should work for you. If you still have a problem, just post another message at this forum to that effect and someone will help you.

Cheers!

The bettter quality PIESPORTER wines are definitely a treat....I used to have them in GERMANY as far back as late 1970's paired with various specialty items.

Please bring me up to speed on the best and so on !

Thanks, biondanonima !
