hey folks--i recently read a book that extolled the pleasures of this winemaker's wines, particularly their zin but i find very little mention of it elsewhere and can't find any ratings for it from any of the "big boys." do they just fly below the radar by design? who here has experience with their wines? i read a few forum entries in which it was referenced but would just like to hear more about it.

I love the old hill zin. Iconic wine.
The bambino is good but not at that level. Ravenswood made the vienyard famous but Will Bucklin's version can blow the socks off of most zins. Which is not to say it's some sort of glasss coating monster, in fact it is down right restrained, but packed with the depth and complexity that old vines are capable of.
