- Details for Bio-Weingut H. u. M. Hofer Grüner Veltliner Trocken 2007
Nothing special, fairly priced and good acidity, but the real thing is that it comes in a 1 liter bottle and that its sealed with a beer bottle cap - ive never seen that done on a bottle of wine before.
Anyone else?

I think this is actually how most bottles going through the traditional method are capped when they're gathering CO2 through fermentation. It's definitely cheap, and especially when you're going to rip off the cap to disgorge the yeast it's important to go the cheapest route.
Afterwards they can close the bottles with a proper cork, of course.
