Ciao everybody! We are Bele Casel, a small winery situated in the Colli Asolani's zone ( north of Venice), prosecco's producer. All our family is running this business, my father and I work in the winery and vineyards, my mum and my wife looking after accountancing matters and my sister is finishing high school and helping us with small things. This is our first experience with an international forum, even if I am studing english I am not good enough with it yet so pls forgive me for any mistakes. As I mentioned before we produce prosecco of Montello e Colli Asolani doc zone. ( from july 2009 it will became Asolo d.o.c.g. Prosecco superiore). This zone is near the most famous zone of Valdobbiadene, we have same hight on the sea level, same sun exposition but different soil. Thanks to this our Prosecco is stronger in body and has an higher minerality. I would have more things to talk about us but I would keep them for next posts! Ciao Luca

I'm a bit impartial, but Bele Casel is really great stuff. I feel lucky to have had so many opportunities to drink it.

We produce about 100/120 000 btls of Prosecco (wich is divided in Brut, Extra dry, dry-Millesimato), and 3000 of Merlot .
In California we are imported from Chambers & Chambers, as far as I know you can find us in the whole state and overall in S. Francisco, S. Diego and L.A.

tks Philip! Could u just explain me how does it work the http://www.snooth.com/wines/bele+casel/ ? ( e.x. I dont understand starting prices....do u take them from Carlo Cattaneo's wine card?) Also I would like to have chance to change kind of wines since chardonnay is not being produced any more and I would like to add prosecco Montello e Colli Asolani and see if something else to do. Quando tornero devo andare al Val di Non, allora siamo abastanza vicino. Siete un ora e mez dal Trento? Ho stato nel Piemonte per una settemane nel Maggio, subito dopo la pioggia, e l'ho visto che era abastanza caldo questi ultimi giorni. Ho pensato per un momento che potrebbe tornare per la racolta, delle mele!, ma questo anno ho tropo da fare qui a New York. Meno male. Cosi quando tornero voi avete i nuove vini nelle vasche!
