Australian virtual tasting Tonight 8pm

Posted by Gregory Dal Piaz, Dec 8, 2010.

  Hey Folks,

I'll be tasting some wines with Wine Australia's James Gosper for an hour or two of wine on Snooth’s Ustream Channel http://www.ustream.tv/user/snooth tonight, Wednesday December 8 at 8pm eastern time.

Starting at 8pm we'll work through

2008 Lesingham Magnus Riesling - Clare Valley
2009 Plantegenet Hazard Hill Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon - Western Australia
2009 Innocent Bystander Pinot Noir - Victoria
2008 Langmeil Three Gardens SGM- Barossa
2007 d'Arenberg The Laughing Magpie Shiraz/Viognier - McLaren Vale

while talking about Australian wine and the Wine Australia Vacation give away.

You could win a 10-day trip to Australai, but that's something a bit separate from this virtual tasting.

I hope to see, or hear from you guys tonight.

Let me know if you have any questions?

GDP.

Thanks Greg, I wasn't even aware that this area existed.  Of course my wife changed the drapery in the living room and it took me a month to notice the change.  Looking forward to viewing the reviews.

Hmmm, I missed this one by completely forgetting about the time. However I went into the archives and watched the last two and I believe I have something to offer. First I realize that you are visually talking to the computer an inanimate object and this is not a visual treat for the viewer as it takes away from the points of your review.  I am hoping that in the future, you pretend that you are talking to real people because.......you are.  This I believe must be a hard thing to do so an alternate suggestion is that you are accompanied by another person so you can play off of each other and make it real.  One other constructive item, please please, don't be telling us that you're looking for the chat icon. Know the program you're using and make it seamless.  Other than my above criticisms, you were fantastic (a way of apologizing for what must seem to you as harsh).
