- Audio books
I've used the Audible monthly service (2 book per month i think) and find it excellent. I listen to the books in the gym (well 6 months ago, when i used to go to the gym) or on my way to the office. Generally its business or non-fiction books, but for a change I'm reading, or listening rather, to Dune - the epic sci fi series by Frank Herbert.
What has frustrated me endlessly with this reading is that they switch the voices around. So for 6 hours one guy will be the voice of the hero and another the voice of the villain, then suddenly a new chapter will begin and they switch over.
I'm not sure what sort of socialist experiment they were thinking of when they decided that the actors should all share the role equally, but its the stupidest thing i've encountered with an audiobook yet.
Other than that, I highly recommend Audible as a service for those too busy to cast eyes to physical parchment.

I'm also a big fan of Audible; when else would you have the time to read this stuff. However, recently I've found myself being distracted by the dizzying array of high-quality free podcasts available for download.
The problem with Audible is that you can't suspend your account a la Netflix.
