Asolo Prosecco d.o.c.g. superiore is finally born!

At the end of a great deal of effort Prosecco Montello e Colli Asolani doc has been recognized as Asolo Prosecco docg superiore, of course together with Prosecco di Valdobbiadene and Conegliano!
These two zones have been "promoted" as docg because they represent the history of Prosecco as matter of facts that only them were producing doc.
Denomination of doc will be passed to ex igt 9 province (Treviso, Belluno, Vicenza, Padova, Pordenone, Udine, Trieste, Gorizia the Doc zone of Lison-Pramaggiore (Venezia). All actual prosecco produced outside these zones will be called "Glera".
The most popular zone of Valdobbiadene e Conegliano will produce the docg in 5000 hectars and Asolo docg in 500 hectars more or less.
If u might have the chance to taste these 3 kind of Prosecco please let me know yr opinion!

Really, so many exciting things happening in Italy that it will be difficult to squeeze in all the visits I want to make in only 1 week!
