I had to work late and missed out on the Stoller VT. How did it go? Damn it, now I have two bottles that I feel bad about. Hope it was great. Sorry I missed you all. =(

It was great... I loved both of the wines.  This is what Oregon pinot should taste like.  Reminds me of the sonoma coast pinots... many characteristics in common:  nose, earthy funk, some coffee - palate: bing cherries, currants, spices.

Melissa was an awesome host, as was GDP (but we all already knew that!).  I am definitely going to visit Stoller.  SOON.  This summer.

I LOVED both the wines, and both were amazing in their own right.  But I preferred the 2008 (prolly not the majority choice).  I just really love 2008 for a west coast pinot... I am loving many of the 2008, including my Lioco Sonoma Coast, and my beloved Gracianna Bacigalupi :-)

I really wanted to be there too. Sucks! I had an 08 Domaine Drouhin Pinot last weekend, another Oregon product that was real tasty. Seems 08 was a real good year for Oregon PN thus my anger at missing the virtual tasting. Thanks for the notes. I'll post mine when I get a chance to pop these two!

Well, Snooth tweeted that the video was recorded and available to watch here.  It looks like it isn't there yet, but I am guessing it will be available soon as I see the Zonin tasting video is available for viewing.

Yeah, i'm bummed I missed this one also.  With work, the NBA's crazy trade deadline, and some errands I had to run, just couldn't swing it.

I have tried both wines though, so I will be posting my notes.  Found the JV a bit green, but i'm definitely enjoying the SV estate tonight.
