Any interest in joining a New York City monthly tasting group?
Posted by Gregory Dal Piaz, Sep 28.

After last night's crowd petered out, well actually in the final moments, there was some discussion of getting together and forming a small tasting group to meet regularly.

Anybody in NYC want to be included in the discussions? I'm thinking once a month or so with a budget to be determined. We can keep cost down by using the conference room here at Snooth and ordering in some antipasto. There are several BYOB friendly restaurants that would not break the bank that would be fun include as well.

Just throwing the idea out there to see what sort of response I might get.

OK, I'm gonna go drink with myself then.

I guess that means more Barolo for me!

I can't contribute any older wines but I'd definitely be interested and would be happy to bring some younger bottles.

You know I'd love to, my only problem is that weekdays are nearly impossible for me due to working out in the Island till 6:30 - 7pm.

Would love to participate, except for the minor problem of a 7,000 mile or so commute... ;-(

Sunday nights, that should give everyone ample time to get here!

Very interested. If we each bring a bottle we'd have a lot of stuff to taste, and the cost would be minimal for each.

Sunday nights would be much more possible for me. As long as I have good notice I can keep them free.
