If your pocket book can afford it you need go no further than to the California Hotel that is part of Disney. They have great dinning and a very good wine list. If your goal is to have kid friendly than anything in and around the park is your best bet. There are several hotels with dinning, Downtown Disney has lots of family orientated dinning and most have decent wine lists. If you want upscale then I would recommend Mr. Stox. It is few miles from the park and is very good (one of the classics of the County for years) but their menu really isn’t kid friendly although you can take kids there. Their menu is online I think, so you can check it out.
Good luck and remember, no one leaves Disney until they have maxed out their credit cards. It's the law of Mouse Land!

Thanks FlameFighter. My credit card is already nearing flame out status. I'm sure Disneyland will result in a molten blob of plastic in my wallet where the Visa used to be!
I will try to get to the California Hotel and suspect that I will be dining in the Downtown Disney zone too.

Sorry, not much to recommend here.. but I want to tell you to AVOID Morton's steakhouse in Anaheim. Horrible service, overpriced mediocre food, and wine list is only ok, And it's in a setting that looks like an old Denny's. Bleh.
