On Sunday, July 26, the Meadowlark Service League will hold its 22nd annual ‘A Taste of Camarillo’ Wine and Food Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. on the lawns of the historic Adolfo Camarillo Ranch House at 201 Camarillo Ranch Road, Camarillo. Proceeds will benefit Camarillo and greater Ventura County charities.

Guests will be able to sample fine wines and tantalizing food from a wide variety of participating wineries and restaurants. Enjoy an afternoon featuring live entertainment provided by cosmic country group “Blue Moon” and Ventura County’s jazz darling - Jeanne Tatum. CBS 2 and KCAL 9 news reporter, Serene Branson, will emcee the event which also includes opportunity drawing, silent auction and boutique shopping.

On July 25 there will be a pre-event Wine Auction Gala and Dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Camarillo Ranch. This very popular event includes live and silent auctions of fine and rare wines plus gourmet dinner and live music by the “Big Little Jazz Band”. Some fabulous auction items include a ’06 Mollydooker Velvet Glove, (99 pts. Robert Parker) for the wine connoisseur, a weekend in Mammoth for the ski enthusiast, a hot air balloon ride for the adventurous and catered gourmet dinners to please any palate. Advance reservations are required because seating is limited.

Meadowlark Service League is a non-profit organization of women dedicated to raising funds for a variety of local charitable organizations and programs that provide services to meet the needs of Camarillo and the greater Ventura County area.

Tickets for A Taste of Camarillo are $75 in advance and $85 at the door. Tickets for the Wine Auction Gala and Dinner are $60. A weekend pass for both events is $125.
