: A great afternoon at Jonathan Edwards' Spring Fest!; Posted by MTB, Jun 7.; Fellow snoother, ChristyS and I met up with Andie1 at the Jonathan Edwards' Winery Spring Fest yesterday. Perfect weather, gorgeous setting, and great wines.

The highlight of the afternoon was the just released Connecticut Chardonnay - crisp, with a bright citrus nose, this is a very different Chardonnay than JE's Napa Valley Chardonnay. Lovely notes of lemon and grapefruit in the mouth. It was served chilled, at the perfect temperature (impressive, given the event was hosted outside - congrats Andie and Kylie), and paired nicely with the lobster guacamole we picked up from the Food Tent. A really nice wine.
