Wine Punch

This Malbec packs a punch. Very dark red in color. I feel a rich rush of plum and black cherry that quickly fades. A slight taste lingers.

A very good syrah. it shows big red fruit with spices on the nose. flavors to match with leather finish. the finish is short and lacks the punch of the previous vintage.

There's a lot going on with this wine.....sort of felt like an overambitious punch to me.

Another winner from Cardwell Hill. The 2007 doesn't pack as much of a fruit punch as the 2006, but make no mistake, this is full bodied Pinot Noir. This would pair well with salmon but I prefer it with a nice ribeye...

Looks like fruit punch and doesn't taste much better. I'd prefer a pabst blue ribbon.

Really interesting, almost "moldy" nose with tobacco overtones, giving way to honey flavors with a little punch of acidity. Long finish with fig/raisin notes. Bought a bottle to try with cheese.
