I like Mateus's shapely bottles and attractive little labels. Rock bottom price. Things did not get off to a good start when the cheap cork crumbled the minute I put an opener into it - maybe that helps explain the price...

The big juicy fruit in this wine was great. Refreshing and jammy, but not too overwhelming. I'm seriously considering making this our "house" red considering the great value.
