"tough" on Snooth

Zufrieden- Port was a direction I was considering too, but it's tough to say without knowing the kind of cake. Some Inniskilin may meet the cake on the decadence level as well... specially the riesling ;). Tasty.

I like that description of east coast Cab Franc. I never really thought of it ... Long Island wines are tough to come by outside of Long Island, so being your from the Pittsburgh area I can see it being tough to get...

I have ordered this wine when available and it is by far a great wine to enjoy ... is earthy, raspberry with a tough of smoke and a excellent finish

I just wrote a novel on a wine I found recently called Treasure Hunter. I don't ... $20 bucks!! I am having a tough time finding more about them although I did get a case of wonderful pinot from the same shop. If anyone...

If anything, I think all these suggestions have just made matters more ... My guess is that it's pretty tough, nay impossible to find that outside of Oz. Went to Penfolds while I was there, too. Pretty impressive...

I'd stay away from the Silver Oak (both Napa and Alex). They're just so gaudy ... any age will most likely be tough. Older Ridge Monte Bellos have both elegance and structure, and incredible mouth feel. I'd knock back...

Not very expressive on the nose with small notes of vanilla tinged sweet ... fruit but then a wall of tough tannins drapes itself over the palate. The fruit, sweet, jammy raspberry peeks out again on the finish but...

San Giusto a Rentannano Chianti Classico 2007

Starting at $23.94 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

Reasonably well balanced. 2007 must have been a tough, cold year as this wine was a little more astringent and acidic than in previous years. It lacked the fruit to really pull it off. Nice enough but not the stand out...

The label (Dry Creek Zin, 15.6% alcohol) and young age suggest a bruiser. But ... red without any harshness, tough tannin, or heat. The dark cherry, plum, and spicy berry fruit courses across the palate, while the texture...

November 2009

So a question in one of these threads, or perhaps in a comments thread on one ... the prices I'm paying it's tough to get a more interesting wine in s full throttle fruit forward style. Ok I see an argument coming there!...
