Mildly aromatic but well balanced, low acidity with a moderate buttery finish. Dark cherry flavor with a hint of spice. Good value @ $27 CDN.
On the nose.. Wet forest with some subtle gamey meat mix with dense fruit and spice. Opulent, full bodied and tightly wound in the mouth with the lingering of pepperiness on the pallate through a long finish.
Organic. Nice, ripe berry aromas with a hint of vanilla and cassis. Bright and acidic on the finish but has a fairly rich body with flavors of cherry, raisin, and a hint of mint. Very nice for such a reasonable price!

It's good... Exactly as expected... Benefited from a brief stint in the decanter. Typically fruit forward, a little jam and some chocolate and spice. Great everyday wine. My rating: 86/100 For the money: 90/100
