"ribs" on Snooth
I have ordered this wine when available and it is by far a great wine to enjoy with prime rib or pork osso bucco. On my palette it is earthy, raspberry with a tough of smoke and a excellent finish.

Someone was just elbowing me in the ribs about one of her favorites, Iron Horse from Sonoma (I think she spent too much time in Sebastopol ;-) ). Not my personal favorite, but I'll toss it out there, too.

yoshi - Korean short ribs? Yum! Who cares about the wine? As far as getting into fights over bbq sauce, why not? It's another excuse for a fight and who wants to pass that up? Personally, I like them all. It's hard...
I suppose I tuck it away longer than I thought...I'll try not to anymore. ... that involves Korean short ribs, fresh fish/sushi/ceviche, and of course, tri tip. We don't really get into the whole ribs and chicken...
We forgot we had this bottle and ended up drinking it after it sat in our ... so we drank it with BBQ Ribs. Delicious
Up until I tried this wine, I was pretty luke-warm on Malbecs but we tried this with japanese-style shabu shabu the other week with shredded raddish in ponzu sauce and the result was amazing as the ponzu sauce made flavors...
Really enjoyed it. Had 2 bottles from WSJ wines and thought it was the best Bordeaux. Went very well with lamb chops and also with a rib eye steak.
Having this right now with dinner. The short rib is ok, but the wine is phenomenal
