"Purple" on Snooth

Inky, fruit forward, berry and a slight chocolate tone. No special nuances to this selection, but worth the $10 I spent on it. I would call it a very good picnic wine or a wine to drink out on the back patio with a friend.

Sangria is whatever you want it to be. Cut up some oranges, add some sugar, ... and butter will look a gray-purple if you use some cheap barbera

Red-Purple plum color. Distinct aroma of raspberry and blackberry. Light to medium bodies with young tannins and a bit of spiciness. Acidity lingers through the finish and leaves you with a dry mouth. A little unrefined...

Menage a Trois Red 2008

Starting at $8.99 Snoothrank: 3/5

This wine was powerfully fruity that just hits you in the face. It's a fun wine to drink alone and with a bunch of friends. However, there isn't a lingering finish which is what makes this wine fun to drink alone but not...

... a chance to get their hands purple at a private crush. Be part of a select group, grab your friends, get down to City Winery, crush some Cabernet and get your hands on some seriously good fruit.

With a powerful blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, ... monster. An opaque, inky purple core fades ever so slightly to a bright ruby rim. Poignant and profound aromas of crushed black fruit,...

Pahlmeyer Proprietary Red Cabernet Sauvignon 2005

Starting at $144.00 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

Rich purple color in the glass, with a nice plum fruit and rich aroma. Medium mouth feel, clean and 7-10 second finish. Tannins present, in nice balance with acid. Nice to drink alone, and changed with addition of...

Ercavio Mas Que Vinos Roble 2007

Starting at $11.99 Snoothrank: 3/5
October 2009

Sampled at a wine tasting with friends in August 2009. Dark purple, thick color, enough to stain your teeth purple! Sediment in the bottle. Aromas of a dank cave (perhaps starting to turn), dark plum fruit and earthy....

Bv Tapestry Reserve 1997

Dark purple color. Notes of black cherry and coffee. Fruit forward, explosive cherry flavors. Huge tannins. This was tasted prior to decanting. After decanting for 3 hrs the wine opened up nicely, tannins softened and...
