"potent" on Snooth

November 2009

I really liked this wine. It was very potent and flavorful, and had a very intense aroma as well. It is definetly a wine to be sipped and enjoyed on a night when you don't have to go to work the next day. Just a warning...

Zynthesis Zinfandel 2006

Starting at $8.49 Snoothrank: 2.5/5

Fine bubbles. Bread on the nose with citrus and somewhat floral nuances. Potent acidity yet a nice smooth mouthfeel as well. Nice level of dryness. Lingering finish. This is a very fine cuvee.

An intense noe of fruit. Apricot, honey, melon, opening later later with ... apples with hints of more potent and livelier spice with undertones of violets. Leaves you reminiscing of summer with only the slightest hints...

Snoqualmie Vineyards Riesling Naked 2008

Starting at $12.44 Snoothrank: 3.5/5
November 2009

Ah... Gosling's 151 Black Rum. This stuff could equally take the paint off an ... but probably the most potent spirit I've ever imbibed, due to the combination of its thickness and alcohol content. Black napalm

Gosling's 151 Rum

Starting at $36.38 Snoothrank: 3/5

Moris Farms Morellino di Scansano 2006

Starting at $12.98 Snoothrank: 3/5

Takes a little breathing, say 45 minutes to an hour to reach its full potential but wow....the most potent $20 (CAN) bottle I have had in as long as I can remember. Its all pomegranate on the nose, hits like biting into...

Folonari Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso NV

Starting at $15.66 Snoothrank: 4/5

Served slightly chilled. Potent nose of bell pepper, grass, and an herbal note. On the palate there is a nice mineral component to the flavor as well as the bell pepper and grass from the nose. The acidity in the wine...

Les Chenes Vieux Sancerre 2007

Starting at $18.99 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

Caymus has crafted an elegant and potent cabernet that I reluctantly drank in the absence of food. This turned out to be the antithesis of a mistake...my mouth was delighted. Herbaceous notes from the boquet showered me...

Caymus Special Selection 2004

Starting at $165.00 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

Appearance: Ruby with reddish disc, tears are thin, colse and form fast. ... and pinetree. Taste: Potent, but soft, almost dull finish. A little astrigency. Blueberries and leather. Overall: I was surprised at this...

May 2009

Fairly straightforward, bright citrus fruits with potent acidity. Medium to coarse mousse.
