Ahnfeldt Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Snoothrank:
This wine is the bomb.. The only reason I don't give it 5 glasses is because its peaking right now.. This is a fully mature big bodied incredibly smooth well balanced mouth watering treasure of a wine. It will hold on for a couple more years but you usually have to pay $50 to $100... Read more

Wolf Blass Grey Label Cabernet Sauvignon Langhorne Creek 2006
Snoothrank:
Recently did a comparative tasting to the 2005. The 2006 is of course more ... Neither are really at their peak but I would try the 2006 again in 2011 as a 5 year old and leave the 2005 until 2012 or so. Expect they will be drinking very well at that point

Louis M. Martini Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County 2006
Snoothrank:
Serious Cabernet for the price. The only reason I didn't rate this deeply ... be several years from its peak, and if its aromas open up, I will have under-rated it. It's not clear how Martini did it for this price, but I'm all for it

The last bottle of a case I bought some years ago, and one of my favorite ... At or close to its peak. Red fruits dominate

Chateau Bellevue Fronsac 2006
Snoothrank:
Very pleasant. I tend not to like too strong wines, but this Fronsac was a nice peak compared to other wines I have tried before. Tannins are present, but in a nice way.

October 2009
Couvent des Jacobins 1976
Snoothrank:
Color of strong black tea with a hint of red. Strong aroma of anise at first, ... citrus. A little past it’s peak, but overall not bad
