"Ovis" on Snooth
Try a slightly chilled Australian Sparkling Shiraz for something a little different if you can source one (happy to recommend if you can get some label names). Marries beautifully with turkey and cranberry sauce (as well...
Excellent old vine zin. If you are lokking for a wine that goes with beef or pork and want somthing that is easy on the palette I would say give this a try. For the price it is a winner.
I have ordered this wine when available and it is by far a great wine to enjoy with prime rib or pork osso bucco. On my palette it is earthy, raspberry with a tough of smoke and a excellent finish.

Lamb and Merlot? YUM. Steven, that is an interesting choice. I prefer the D. Ventura wines, the Caneiro in particular, though all three are delicious. They are simply not widely distributed though, so while I can get a...
As Simon so rightly mentions, it does sound like there's a lot going on with the preparations you describe, wineboy. I would keep the mint (and particularly basil) volume down a bit, but would be most concerned about the...
