"Mousse" on Snooth

Taste 5 wines from exceptional growing areas paired with a delicious culinary ... Lamb Loin w Goat Cheese Mousse 05 Bouchard Pere et Fils, Burgundy, FR pairing: Mushroom & Herb Tartlets w Walnut Crust 05 Markowitsch,...

Fine mousse of bubbles and a delicate nose of cherries. This rose is soft and smooth and goes down very easily. There is a slight yeast flavor, but its faint. Very nice.

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Brut Rose Champagne NV

Starting at $54.99 Snoothrank: 4/5

This wine was wonderfully flavorful with a hint of mousse and peaches amongst the fruity blend.

Castello del Poggio Moscato d'Asti 2007

Starting at $12.09 Snoothrank: 4.5/5

Mineral, biscuit, and toast on the nose with citrus joining in on the palate. Very fine mousse. There is crisp acidity on the front that gives way to a nice, dry finish. Pleasantly balanced. This was a very pleasing...

Champagne Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut

Starting at $34.99 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

Fruity on the nose with a fine, delicate mousse. This wine is too sweet for a brut in my opinion, it seems more like an extra dry to me. Acidity is nice, really gives the wine a nice edge. I wouldn't say this is the...

Lively, vibrant mousse. Nose of green apples, mineral, and biscuit. Dry but not overly so with a nice acidic edge. Prominent flavors of tart green apples. Crisp and refreshing. 3.5+ out of 5.

Camel Valley 'Cornwall' Brut 2006

Starting at $39.34 Snoothrank: 4/5

This is a beautiful dark ruby red port. It is thick and decadent and has been ... and surprisingly a foie gras mousse that contained raisins and port - it wasn't very salty so I guess that explains the workable combo

Pale yellow color in the glass. Notes of green apples with just a touch of mineral. Fine mousse. There is an acidic undertone but it is not overly prominent. This wine was dry but not exceptionally so.
