"Limes" on Snooth

Medium-dark plum color at first pour, with minimal aromatics. On it's own, drinkable but not noteworthy. Light on the palate, some nice acidity. Better with cheese. Best pairing for this was a mixed baby green salad...

Sangria is whatever you want it to be. Cut up some oranges, add some sugar, maybe even some orange juice, then a little brandy and a bottle of wine. If you want it more flavorful, throw in some fresh strawberries, some...

Okay ... couldn't wait to let this age more. Floral aromas but some nice honey notes. Nice acid with grapefruit, lime and leche. Developing nicely.

2007 Anaba 'Coriol' White, Sonoma Valley 2007

Starting at $28.00 Snoothrank: 3/5

Chalk and mineral on the nose with a touch of estery banana peel and a bit of leesiness. The fruit here is bright and clean and firmly in the spicy apple and lime and of the register. In the mouth this is focused and...

Louis Latour Pouilly Fuisse 2007

Starting at $12.68 Snoothrank: 3/5

Big and sweet on the nose packed with tropical fruit, fairly light oak, spearmint, lime leaf, and cream. Deceptively light bodied in the mouth with a nice fresh feel and light, transparent flavors of apple, pineapple and...

Cameron Hughes Chardonnay Lot 127 2007

Starting at $13.59 Snoothrank: 3.5/5

Perfumey and lean on the nose with white fleshed orchard fruits edged in dusty herbal tones. On the palate this shows a nice touch of richness yet maintains a light, balanced feel with an almost steely edge to the apple...

Kumeu River Chardonnay Village 2007

Starting at $14.99 Snoothrank: 3.5/5
October 2009

Peaches on the nose. In the mouth the acidity comes through and limes dominate. Good use of oak, combines with the minerality. Lots of rich, sweet fruit, and the acid make this wine big. Finishes on notes of bay leaf

Jm Boillot Rully Chatalienne 2007

Starting at $25.99 Snoothrank: 3/5

my new house white - pale lemon color; nose of lemon-lime citrus, minerals, flint and subtle toasty oak; well balanced and vibrant on the palate -- nothing too fancy, but really good for 10 bucks

Domaine Talmard Macon-Chardonnay 2008

Starting at $10.99 Snoothrank: 3.5/5
October 2009

Crisp, refreshing, un-oaked chardonnay. Great fruit core with pear, lime, pineapple, and kiwi. Some minerality and a hint of Sweet Tarts. Well balanced, lively and acidic with a nice lingering finish.
