Layer Cake Shiraz 2008
Snoothrank:
I just don't appreciate Shiraz the way I do some other wines. This one is full bodied and fruity, with lingering flavors of tasty sweet things like chocolate and jams. As a sipping wine it is just too much before a meal, but not necessarily during or after. I could see this being... Read more

Coenobium Bianco 2007
Snoothrank:
Enjoying this wine for a second time... Great provenance, good acid balance, a touch of tannin from the hand pressed stems and earthy notes lent itself well to our dish of Italian pasta, olive oil, spinach, mushrooms, pine nuts and Parmesan!

Oddero Barolo 1974
Snoothrank:
This really has a lovely fruity quality on the nose with a lightness and brightness that still makes this smell quite youthful. There are nice notes of dandelion, pigskin, dry earth and licorice that add nice detail to the fresh black cherry fruit. In the mouth this has such purity... Read more

Charles Krug Winery Peter Mondavi Family Sauvignon Blanc 2008
Snoothrank:
Expect floral, peach flavors in this light wine with mild minerality and acidity. Pairs with grilled chicken with herbs and a hot mustard sauce, or cedar planked salmon with honey mustard.
