Italians....Again when the cash just won't fit in my wallet, or pocket anymore ...and it's gets hard to walk or even sit down you will find me with an Amarone. I like Sangioveses and good Chianti's ob rare occasion.

Dark and inky with a slight brown edge. Initial hit of berries followed by mint and wood aromas. Big with lots of tannin right away but after some time decanting rounded out with a nice raisin and dark berry flavor....

I do believe that much of it has to do with the moment in time... Keep in mind I'm a big fan of Italian wine. Let's see, 1998 Quintarelli Amarone 1990 Monsanto Nemo 2000 Aldo Conterno Granbussia 1996 Vietti Rocche 1988...

Palazzo Della Torre 2006

The Tommasi Amarone 2004 is not a good wine, its a wonderful wine, had it once at a company wine tasting.. and it blew me away... bought couple of bottles, which vanished within a weekend... but it was worth every penny,...

Hi. In my attempts to find wines to match my courses, I stumbled upon this site. I am doing a 3-course dinner in January and I need help in 2 of the courses, especially the dessert course. I think I have my first course...

Great PX. I found it leagues beyond the Osborne entry level PX. Tastes like good candy. Smells of raisins. Flavors of exotic woods, coffee, chocolate, toffee. Very thick, sweet and elegant. A great dessert wine. Pairs very...
