"Dried Grape Wines" on Snooth
This '97 Santa Sofia Amarone was a birthday gift from a good friend several years ago. Amarones are known for their fragrance, intensity and great character. This '97 example was no exception. It had a smell of heavy...
Italians....Again when the cash just won't fit in my wallet, or pocket anymore ...and it's gets hard to walk or even sit down you will find me with an Amarone. I like Sangioveses and good Chianti's ob rare occasion.

Great PX. I found it leagues beyond the Osborne entry level PX. Tastes like good candy. Smells of raisins. Flavors of exotic woods, coffee, chocolate, toffee. Very thick, sweet and elegant. A great dessert wine. Pairs very...
