"Berries" on Snooth
Some good food you're talking about, vks! Even if I don't like the taste of ... of gin, I do like juniper berries in sauces dressing game. The smoked duck breast sounds like it'd be a good match, even if there's no shop...
Don't know how adventurous you wish to get (if that's really the right word), ... venison. Dressing it with a berries-based sauce and accompanying it with a well made large pinot can be quite the decadent indulgence...
Tastes of leather, rich berries and cream all aged in oak. A nice malbec with hints of spices typical of a shiraz. Very drinkable by itself.
Great Zin. Tons of bramble fruit flavors, yet is very balanced. Nice long finish. Very enjoyable bottle.
Ruby Red. Rich Berry, light spice. Flavors of cherry, currant, leather, smoke ... Light, bright red. Smoky red berries and cherry on the nose, with hints of leather and cured meat. Spicy redcurrant and strawberry flavors...
Inky, fruit forward, berry and a slight chocolate tone. No special nuances to this selection, but worth the $10 I spent on it. I would call it a very good picnic wine or a wine to drink out on the back patio with a friend.
Dark and inky with a slight brown edge. Initial hit of berries followed by mint and wood aromas. Big with lots of tannin right away but after some time decanting rounded out with a nice raisin and dark berry flavor....
This is my favorite wine. It is very tart but has so much more character on ... on the palate. I get plums, berries, and caramel on the nose
Think berries! Raspberry, blackberry with hints of dark chocolate. Fresh and beautifully balanced. Really enjoyed this wine with cheese. Fun wine!
Some weeks ago I tasted the Zweigelt from Weingut Berger Leginthov. I was ... it smelled like fresh berries. I am sure I have to buy more of this interesting wine for my family
