A fairly sharp nose that makes me think tart fruit. Red fruit on entryplum, cherry. Surprisingly, at least for me, modest tannin. Good acidas my nose had forecasted. An interesting wine. I want to like it, and, I do, in fact like it. It just does not have that zinfandel rusticity that I enjoy. A Pinot Noir lovers Zin. Read More

  • Purchased this after tasting with Marcus at his place in McMinnville last July. For pinot gris, this is an excellent wine. More stone fruit than citrus but with some nice acidity.  In addition to the fruit there's some nice spice along with a tongue coating waxy texture.  This is a great alternative for the unoaked chard lovers and a fantastic QPR.
