  • Col d'Orcia Brunello di Montalcino 2002

    Snoothrank:

I thought about pouring this one through the aerator, but instead just let it breathe for an hour before tasting. The nose is quite complex, with a lot of different aromas going on that it almost makes you dizzy, there is a lovely smoky aroma that pervades the nose, with hints of dark fruit, leather and oak, and then there is a sudden twang of ... • Il Feuduccio Pecorino IGT Abruzzo 2011

    Snoothrank:

The wine had a light straw yellow color. After opening the bottle, there were aromas of green apple, lime, melon, flowers & mint. A very refreshing bouquet. On the palate, 'Pecorino' was fresh with a nice acidity. I tasted ripe fruits & honey. The finish was of medium length.Tasting notes from Vino in Love: http://vinoinlove.com/2011-il-feuduccio... Read More

  • Il Feuduccio Feuduccio Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC 2006

    Snoothrank:

The wine had a deep, ruby red color. 'Feuduccio' had a bouquet of dark ripe cherries, raisins, caramel, tobacco, licorice, and raspberry. On the palate, the wine was smooth, dry and a little bit fruity. Very harmonic and complex. The wine had a big body. I tasted cherry again. 'Feuduccio' had some mineralic notes, too. The finish was persistentl... Read More
