  • Love this cause I love draft beer. I find that beer straight from a keg generally tastes fresher and better. Well, De Loach Vineyards in Russian River Valley, is now offering mini-barrels to restaurants who want to pour directly from the barrel. Love the idea but is it a good idea. • Serve Pinot Noir Chevalier de Dyonis 2006

    Snoothrank:

"A pretty cherry red in the glass, a meaty barnyard nose dominates, with some oaky/raspberry notes in the background. Juicy, with good structure and some persistency from faint (but pleasant) tannins. Considering how very hard it is to find palatable pinot under $30, much less $10, this wine deserves heaps of praise." Taken from: http://joeswine... Read More

  • Last night at the Oriel office we had a side-by-side comparison of our 365 prosecco to a particular champagne with a bright yellow label (I'm sure you know the one).
