  • Hi All,   I have a few thoughts/questions that I would appreciate comments on. I have been some-what seriously drinking wine for about eight years now. I am 61 years old and before the "wine enlightenment", drank mostly micro-brewery and other not so chic types of beer. Every year now for the past four, I have held a blind tasting of different r... • I would like to buy a case of wine that we could cellar for about 20 years. My daughter was born in 2006, and we would like to cellar a wine until her wedding. We would like to keep costs to a minimum, but I do realize that quality does have its price. Our tastes tend to change over time, but the last couple of years we have taken a liking to th... • One topic leads to another! How many of you think cork taint is less common than it was a few years ago? I think things have gotten better and I know of at least one cork broker who has a method of purging the TCA out of the corks before delivery. Plus, they work with a very sophisticated wine lab and the QC is much better. What do you think? Read More

  • The rules of probability seem to indicate that the powers that be on this site are stealing tasting notes from members of Cellar Tracker and posting them here without proper permission/attribution.  This is my first, last and only post to ask members why they would put up with such behavior.
