Wine Cellar (South Africa)

Cool and Secure maturation underground cellars in Observatory. Storage Conditions - wines are stored in clean, dark, vibration-free underground cellars. The temperature is controlled between 13 and 14 degrees Centigrade (55 and 57 degrees Fahrenheit). Daily temperatures are recorded. The relative humidity generally runs above 70% and is recorded. Cellar floors are dry. Security - the cellars are locked and protected with high security alarms and closed-circuit television. Access only permitted with a member of WINE CELLAR staff. All deliveries and withdrawals are checked and recorded on duplicate receipt and dispatch forms. Insurance - Insurance is provided by WINE CELLAR to cover water, fire and flood damage up to R133.33 per litre.
