After years of running a successful contemporary art gallery, Stefano Campanini couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. While many people enjoy contemporary art, even more people enjoy drinking wine while looking at art or drinking wine while looking at wine. Through this realization and with the aid of other enophiles with wine-business savvy, Stefano merged his passions for art and wine under the moniker Wine by the Bay, located downtown.

“I am looking forward to offering something that everyone enjoys and in an environment where the art can be appreciated by many and in an unintimidating way," Campanini says of the new, modern, 1,200-square-foot fine-wine and art boutique with terrace views of Biscayne Bay and a steady rotation of exhibitions. "At art openings, wine is like a sideshow, but now, it will take center stage."

  • I am open to suggestions that are relatively easy to procure, on the dryer side, and have some level of complexity- I tend not to like a one-dimensional, flat wine.  At my last tasting of Asian influenced foods, I paired a Trefethern Dry Reisling, along with 2 other whites.  People liked it ok, but thought a bit sweet tho.  The white rhone blend... • Hello all!! My husband and I enjoy wine. He is really good at picking blind, but then he favors Chiantis and Maison Louis Jadot and has never gone wrong. He can even pick, let's say a Portuguese wine -which we love- and it will be good.I, on the other hand, love to read about wine and investigate. I don't always do as well. For example, I just w... • Campobasso Wine

    Snoothrank:

A mellow red wine that has a wonderful homemade flavor. It is not dry and it is not sweet; it is as the lable states "Mellow Red". Salute!I was first introduced to this wine around 1990 at our family cottage on Lake Ontraion in Three Mile Bay, NY. A friend from Cleveland on the shore gave my Dad and I a glass. We couldn't believe it. It was... Read More
