Nice minerality, fair amount of tots. Wish there was more cream. Still very nice aperitif wine.

Great local wine at a very fair price. Flavor changed to more of a merlot on Day 2.

Delicious, cheap, and goes well with food. What more can I ask from a wine?

Wonderfully smooth, accessible Chardonnay. My wife and I both enjoyed this wine and will likely purchase more.
|Region:||France » Bordeaux|

medium bodied with appealing red fruits, smokey dark cherries and chocolate. After an hour or two of decanting the wine gains a bit more flesh, with more ripe fruit. This wine is fresh and well balanced. Excellent Value!

Amazing chardonnay. Much more flavor (caramel?) than their other chards. Good as a drinking wine.

Anyone know any wineries in Connecticut that are 'can't miss' stops?There's a list here, but I was wondering if there was anything unique and worth having a look at- particularly around Mystic & Foxwoods and/or near Lake Compounce. (Boulderdash!) Tanks Read More

An appealing lemon-oil color in the glass with excellent body and viscosity (possibly a bit fat) judging by the legs forming on the sides of the glass. Typical grass, citrus and meadow herb on the nose - though slow to open. A liberal showing of Semillion characteristics - weeds, freshly mown lawn and peach cordial. A few sharper flavors of cit... This was an wine with great body and very drinkable, however for $50 I have had bigger and bolder cabs with more distinct character. Read More
The best Riesling I have ever had. I am a big Fan of rieslings and this one takes the cake. I am going to order it for my wedding. I just wish more places had this wine. I came across it in Napa CA at the Bounty Hunter and in San Francisco at 1 location. Please send to Bevmo in Walnut Creek Read More

2010...and counting...This rates as a 3.0 to me only because it needs a bit more time. I believe in years to come this could be a definite 4+ however it really needs at least another 5 years in the bottle. It is a complex wine that shoots across sharply, which to me is sign of its current maturity. The flavors are really nice. I have 6 bottl... Read More
Gregory-Dal Piazhas put this perfectly...who could say more.....I agree completley. To me this is a very special wine that only urges the pallate to be enoyed with a great steak....enjoy! Read More
The Bodega Pirineos Mesache is from the Somontano area in Aragón, Spain. It is unoaked and has a medium golden color. The wine shows off its aromas immediately, with lots of tropical fruits, especially pineapple, perfume, and some honey. It makes me think that the Gewurztraminer had a big impact here. This wine does just fine on its own with a g... Read More
2010...As Wine Spectator put it...this is a great value wine. It is a light tasting very flavorful white wine that is sure not to make you look bad when you are serving it to guests. It drinks a bit more like a Fume Blanc, in a positive way. This is the best vintage so far of what I have sampled of Bogle's Chardonnay. Great flavors that fill y... Read More
2nd wine of Chateau Labégorce-Zédé in Margaux. Demolished 3 bottles of this with my parents over dinner last night.Very well balanced wine, nice underlying acidity and lots of red and black fruit on the nose and palate, with a nudge of leather and bitter chocolate to give it some complexity. Good finish and to top it all, I don't have a hangover... Read More
