The Cardinal's Cellar

In centuries past, abbeys and monasteries owned many of the world's great wine vineyards. Cardinals, being at the top of the Catholic echelons, got the pick of the vintage, so their cellars were the finest to be found.

The Cardinal's Cellar was founded with an altogether more equitable principle: to make it easier for lesser mortals to drink the great wines of the world.

Our dedicated team of expert buyers chooses wines that guarantee exceptional value and also very special wines that we think you just have to try. We also find wines that have been specifically requested by our customers.

Our wines are kept in our controlled, Cotswold, cellars until they are shipped to you, thus ensuring they are in the best possible condition for drinking, and because The Cardinal's Cellar does not have a shop front, we keep our overheads low, which enables us to give you the best prices and a next day delivery service.
