Per and Britt Karlsson are on a mission: to bring rosé back to the world stage. Yesterday the wine writers published on Forbes their examination of the world's most expensive rosé, an investigation which began with questions some wine drinkers may be asking about the seemingly simple sipper. “Can rosé ever be a great wine. Thanksgiving wine pairing can be tough. With tons of different flavors and lots of different palates at the table, it's downright difficult, if not impossible, to find the perfect wine. It'll no doubt be a story line I plan on focusing on in years to come so I thought I'd start a thread, logging experiences. Sorry in advance, Greg T.Having said that, I've been mostly dis... I don't feel like iron is a proper wine descriptor but it is something that I recently perceived. The wine definitely was not flawed...it was actually DELICIOUS.Would this be considered as having good minerality? Come from mineral rich soils? It is a Sicilian red wine called Nerello Mascalese and I am not sure if this is a typical trait? I know ... Read More

The website showed they had the wine in stock, but then I was contacted by a salesperson saying they had 0 bottles in the store. The wine was supposed to be delivered a few days later, but took a few extra. The store was kind enough to give me a 17% discount on the bottle (without me asking) to make up for the delay.
