In October 2004, Michael Davis and Paul Hart, the most experienced wine auctioneers in America, partnered with world-renowned fine wine purveyor John Hart of John Hart Fine Wines to form Hart Davis Hart Wine Company (hdhwine.com). Hart Davis Hart Wine Company combines live wine auctions with a state-of-the-art wine retail system, and is backed by the most experienced team offering the most highly personalized service of any fine and rare wine company in the United States. Michael Davis and Paul Hart, with combined experience of 50 years at Sotheby’s, Davis & Company and Christie’s are pleased to be back in the auction arena after a brief hiatus. They are colleagues of 15 years and shared the title of Senior Vice President at Sotheby’s and Co-Head of their North American Wine Department.
