Welcome to good wine online. This is a new site with a different approach to marketing good wines. We’re a family owned wine merchant and we love drinking good wine just as much as selling it. Jane and I have a real passion for good wine, in particular good Italian wine and, more recently, Argentinian wine which is now challenging the very best from the rest of the world. We recommend some stunning, little known examples on this site. We also import some superb little known wines from other countries such as Australia. – Description from dvoristanac

  • The majority of wines on the market these days are meant to be consumed within one to five years. This is a natural law. Producing wines that can sit in the cellar for decades is time-consuming and expensive. There is a time and place for wines that age and adventurous palates are required. Most all age-worthy wines will have high acid, tannin, ... Read More

  • RC - The Primitivo was well worth the money paid in the restaurant, and I think you can find it online for around $20-$25.  I'm not good at detailed descriptions of wine as I have difficulty in detecting and describing complexities in what I am drinking. I get the overall mouthfeel and this wine was decent.   I don't think that I've had a wine t... • I've seen the Cavallotto label over the years appearing plenty on-line, like on my facebook feed, but I've never thought to give the wines any attention myself until recently. • DAYNA -Welcome to snooth!!  The Meomi is technically an off dry Pinot with the amount of residual sugar that it has.  I've never held one for that long but it should work. However the 2013 is still available in some markets and really, really good for it's style. - Mark West makes the "Black" Pinot in the same style. I've been drinking the Eroic... Read More
