  • I know there have been at least one or two conversations about buying wines at Costco, but I happened to catch the one hour documentary about Costco on CNBC, last night.  They actually spent a significant portion of the program (8-9 minutes) about wine sales.  Here is the thing that blew me away.  Apparently, annual wine sales at Costco exceed a... • This is, probably, not the most compelling wine issue of the day, but it has long bothered me that restaurants might offer wines by the glass or wines by the bottle, but very rarely do they offer wines by the half-bottle.  To me half-bottles offer elegant solutions to two different dining scenarios:I’m dining alone.  I definitely want wine with ... • A couple of news items I was pondering today.First, Robert Parker came out with his ratings for the 2009 Bordeaux vintage. • Hi everyone,I've been a member of Snooth for a while now, but I've just been shy to introduce myself and such. My first exposure to wine was almost 14 years ago, when my mother let me have a sip of her then-favorite Shiraz (Wyndham Estates Bin 555) - one reason why Syrah and Shiraz varieties are very dear to me.I started properly acquiring wine ...
