In 1995, after 20 years of experience in catering, we had the opportunity to start something that had been in our dreams for years.
A Wine store with a capital “W” where people interested can choose amongst a vast list of wines, as well as taste and purchase some gastronomic specialties that were carefully and enthusiastically selected.
After selling her previous business Manuela devoted herself to studying wine-making and related techniques and attended the courses promoted by AIS (Italian Sommelier Association). She is now a full-fledged Sommelier, and is also in charge of the appetizers served with a goblet of the wine each customer can select on the comprehensive list proposed by the Wine-store.
Substantial help is provided by Matteo who serves at the bar and is in charge of the wine cellar. He, too, attended AIS courses, specialized in logistics and takes care of wine shipments all over the world.
