Canterbury Wines is a fine wine supplier based in Melbourne, in the suburb of Canterbury run by yours truly, Nick Munday. Its aim is to supply quality wines that offer exceptional value for money and to provide service of the highest standard. In other words, the complete antithesis of the modern retail chain, where every wine produced by the big companies, irrespective of quality, is stocked; where smaller company wines are largely ignored, where staff do not have the knowledge to assist you the customer, and where service is not a high priority. – Description from JelaDragoljevic

From the classic Condrieu varietal bottlings to red blend cameo appearances, Viognier’s oily bits of succulen... Read More

  • The opportunity to invest in wine before it enters the bottle is a special one, especially when it comes to Bordeaux. En Primeur is a long and storied tradition of the Old World. It also has been adopted in New World regions such as California and Australia. Tasting young barrel samples two years prior to a vintage’s release is a palate-twisting... Read More
