"There are several reasons we can do this", says Barry Broudy, owner of Broudy's Liquors. "We have the products that our customers want priced com petitively with anyone else in the area. We know how to make smart purchases and because we have five stores, we can take advantage of specials offered by our suppliers. There are times our distributors are overstocked and/or having to make quotas at the end of the month. They make us aware of any additional savings and we are able to pass these savings along to our customers. Their specials might not be avail able in enough quantity for a large chain to partici pate, but with multiple locations we are able to bring in enough product to keep our customers happy."
