Blanc & Rouge is a wine shop that has been serving the historic neighborhood of Dumbo, in Brooklyn, New York, since 2000. The name is French, in honor of the founder's nationality and passion, but the stock is international, covering all major wine producing regions. We have over 150 wines that retail for $15 or less. Although our shop features every-day values, our e-commerce business focuses on the rare and hard to find. We know that these wines require great care. We buy our rare wines only from reliable sources, and only if we are assured that the provenance is good. Many of our rare wines were purchased on release. All rare wines are stored on premises at perfect cellar temperature.

  • I've just offered to help some friends select wines for their upcoming wedding, and thought i'd drop in to see if you all had any fresh suggestions.  The price range/bottle is $10-$20, and it will be for at least two types of red wine. Right off the bat, I'm pretty sure I can easily find a good Malbec blend from Argentina that fits the criteria.... • Tomorrow is the first Monday of 2011 and my article on Burgundy for France Today is due... I also need to work on a 2009 vintage report for Harpers Wine & Spirit. But allow me just to reflect on a marvelous Chateau Eglise Clinet Pomerol 1989 whose plum and spice richness matched a New Year's Day prime rib of beef perfectly. Or how about a delecta... Read More
