Blanc & Rouge is a wine shop that has been serving the historic neighborhood of Dumbo, in Brooklyn, New York, since 2000. The name is French, in honor of the founder's nationality and passion, but the stock is international, covering all major wine producing regions. We have over 150 wines that retail for $15 or less. Although our shop features every-day values, our e-commerce business focuses on the rare and hard to find. We know that these wines require great care. We buy our rare wines only from reliable sources, and only if we are assured that the provenance is good. Many of our rare wines were purchased on release. All rare wines are stored on premises at perfect cellar temperature.

Funny how Dunn was ... Read More

  • Generally, I am able to write some pretty complete reviews of restaurant wine lists, but as Michael Madrigale reveals in his telling interview with Levi Dalton, Bar Boulud’s list doesn’t tell the whole story. None of us had spent any time in Paso before, and the anticipation was very high indeed. It seemed the more I read about the area and its wine scene, the more I gained the impression that the West side of town (from just north of ... Read More

  • Paul Prieur la Comète Rouge L. France Vin de la Vallée de la Loire Sancerre 2010

    Snoothrank:

Definitely good, but without the depth of a lot of Sancerre. Very tart, nice minerality, and an overall solid structure. Great apero wine, but it reminded me more of a Muscadet than anything else. Read More
