Not too oaky or buttery; very good with seafood and/or to cook seafood (e.g., clams) in. Introduced to this one through BevMo's wine club.

I got this for 5.99 at bevmo. It's phenomenal at that price. Smooth, not that complex, but a nice, cheap wine to serve with any meal.

Bevmo had a 2 for 1 deal on this and I figured it was worth a try. Had this with some cheese and crackers, which went well since this wine is not very dark or heavy for a cab. I don't think I would have liked this paired with red meat though, since all the flavors are so subdued. More kick on the back than the front. Read More

Next week Trader Joe's will open a location just minutes from my home, I know they have all kinds of great specialty foods, and I've been told you can get some great inexpensive wine buys to stock up on. Any recommendations for their reds that are suitable for everyday enjoyment? I prefer Zins, Cabs and Pinot Noir. ~ thank you ~ Read More
You can buy it at BevMo anywhere. Saracco 2007 brand is really good too. Tastes just like the one from olive garden... But only 15 dollars a bottle. Well worth it! Read More
At twelve bucks a pop and readily available at Safeway and BevMO, this is a safe go-to if you're looking for a Cabernet Sauvignon. It's more acidic than the Claret (which is my go to Red period) but it's a pleasure to drink with food. The black cherry is the strongest fruit you'll smell in it and it's light on the oak / tannins.
