  • Milbrandt the Estates Merlot 2011

    Snoothrank:

The wine is a deep ruby color, classic for Merlot. The nose is chock full of leather, dark chocolate, blackberry and a hint of mint, just the classic aroma of a nice Merlot. The taste is wonderful, with a rush of ripe black fruit, cherry, plum and blueberry that transitions to some wonderful notes of vanilla and mocha midpalate. The tannins a... Read More

  • Milbrandt Vineyards the Estates Cabernet Sauvignon Wahluke Slope Washington 2012

    Snoothrank:

A hint of mint chocolate on the nose of this wine alongside the black cherry fruit. In the mouth it's sharp and tart with red fruit flavors, mostly cherry alongside the black fruit and chocolate notes as well. Due to the cooler climate, this wine gets a bit of an herbal note to it as well, but the fruit certainly is dominant here. Read More
