  Hopkins Vineyard Sachem's Picnic Red Blend NV

  I'm not much of a wine drinker.This wine was just what I wanted. I wouldn't call it sweet-it was tart and I could taste the grape flavor. It wasn't bitter the way drier wines are.I was pleased to see it was made in CT.

Read moreHi, I'm a new Snooth user.  I love wine and I love lists/organization so this is a great way for me to keep track of the wines I buy and how much I like them.  I also hope to find many recommendations as well.  I love reds and whites, particularly shiraz and cabernets, and chadonnays and sauvignon blancs.  I'm on a budget so I try to stick with ones priced from about $9-$12 so I have to do a little research either in the store or before I go to the store.  I have a glass or two with dinner every night and it's one of my most sacred ruituals.  Feel free to brouse my cellar - I just restocked today - and send me any recommmendations (wines or even great stores in CT to find wine).  Thanks!-Chook    (hide)
