San Bernardino County Wine
Rich, musty nose with notes of ripe berries, full body, smooth but still firm tannins, notes of creamy berries, molasses and dark chocolate on the palette, gentle finish of vanilla, dark stonefruits and coffee. A nice pair with pepperoni pizza.

Although we tend to be red wine drinkers, this is a favorite in my household. Crisp, golden, soft finish, not too oaky or buttery.

Smells like rubbing alcohol. Some berry notes in there. Very intense up front, good acid. Not really tannic and no bitter or weird after taste. I like it. Shit.

"Triple Gold Winner. Won so many awards the Winery no longer is allowed to enter it into judging competitions. This port has won more International awards than any port in the United States. Tawny port style. Amber caramel in color with warm brown sugar on the nose. Long, lingering finish with hints of walnuts.$33 at the winery" Read More
When I pulled the cork I was a bit surprised at how darkly it was stained at the bottom. On pouring I was surprised that the wine was not as dark as I expected. Color, notwithstanding, the proof is on the tongue. A very enjoyable and drinkable wine. Not terribly fruit forward, although there is certainly the blackberry hit that I get with a... Read More
Much darker in the glass that the "standard" bottling that I had, last night. Very fruity nose with that same "sweet minty" aroma that I saw, last night. Quite full-bodied and fruity in the mouth--cherries, blackberries--with something of an effervescence at the tip of the tongue. Noticeable alcohol on the finish. US$19.75 at the winery in M... Light color in the glass. Very unusual nose--can definitely detect a "sweet" mint odor. In the mouth this is a medium-bodied wine with some berry fruit and some earthiness. Fair amount of tannic puckeriness at the tip and the edges of the tongue. Pretty easy to drink uncomplicated wine. US$6.95 at the winery in Mira Loma. Read More
Big jammy vanilla and licorice scented nose with lots of juniper accented wild berry fruit aromas. Fresh and zesty in the mouth. This is very well balanced with lots of fruit tannin supporting deep briary flavors. The clarity of fruit on the palate is surprising given the jammy aromas. This picks up lovely brushy chaparral inner mouth perfumes t... Read More

Loads of pepper and spice on the nose with an underbrush and tomato leaf aroma. Spicy, stewed red fruit compote, some zippy pomegranate notes and fresh sage. On the palate, a rather minty quality up front. Then zesty red raspberry and currant fruit with a white pepper and baking spice quality. Some blacker fruits emerge. Lighter to medium b... Read More
